The Book of Remembrance was begun back in 2001 and has been growing ever since. It contains the names of hundreds of service men and women for whom the Divine Mercy Intercessory Prayerline prays.

For Our Troops

If you have loved ones serving in the military, consider sending their names to the Divine Mercy Intercessory Prayerline. We will keep them in our prayers, and we will also put their names into our Book of Remembrance in Our Lady of Mercy Oratory.

We put together the book because we wanted to remember all our men and women going over to war. As we get names called in, we've been adding them to the book. The book always stays in the chapel. It's always in the presence of our Lord.

The book sits by a memorial candle for the men and women in the armed services that's dedicated to Our Blessed Mother so that she will watch over them.

The candle remains lit during the day, everyday, until all our troops come home.

To the Book of Remembrance, the prayerline also adds the names of service men and women who are killed and we pray for the repose of their souls.

To add a name to the Book of Remembrance, simply let us know in your intention that it is for a service man or woman and we'll place his or her name into our Book of Remembrance.
